ALLYSON BAUTISTA, Educational Outreach Specialist

A proud first-generation Mexican-American from Selma, California, Allyson earned both her Bachelor’s degree in psychology and Master’s degree in counseling from Fresno State. Allyson brings a strong background in student support services through her previous roles as a TRIO peer mentor and resident advisor. She is passionate about increasing access to higher education and is dedicated to guiding and empowering students from underrepresented communities as they navigate their educational pathways.

KARIGAN C. WANN, Administrative Assistant

Karigan C. Wann (she/they) is a first-generation college graduate with an MA in music with a focus on vocal performance. She has studied internationally and is a proud double alumnus of Fresno State. In addition to her role at the TRIO Educational Opportunity Center, Karigan teaches private voice lessons in her personal time. Outside of her work in music, she serves as our administrative assistant, having previously worked as a student program assistant for nearly a year. During her time as a student, she gained outreach experience by working part-time as a student ambassador for Outreach and Special Programs. Karigan is committed to supporting underrepresented adults in accessing higher education and achieving their academic goals through her work with the program.

Student Health and Counseling Center

The Student Health and Counseling Center has some new additions! Our new team members have varied backgrounds and will bring a wealth of knowledge to each of their specific positions. We are very excited to have them on board!
