DIANA REA FLORES, Dream Success Center:
Thank you so much Diana for your collaboration on the film screening and panel discussion event! Your insights were so incredibly helpful and important in making this event a success! I hope to continue our partnership together!

D’AUNGILLIQUE JACKSON, Black Student Success Initiative:
Thank you so much to D’Aungillique for helping to create such a great and safe place for our students on campus. Your work for Black History Month has not gone unnoticed! Your passion and care for our campus community is unmatched.

SADE JOHNSON, Black Student Success Initiative:
Thank you Sade for working to create a month full of love, appreciation, and education during Black History Month! Your work has not gone unnoticed, and seeing the great connections you are helping to build with our students is phenomenal!

TATIANA LIWAG, TRIO Student Support Services – Disabilities:
Tatiana helps to coordinate trainings for her Peer Academic Coaches and students who are enrolled in the TRIO program. Tatiana communicated spectacularly with me while planning a presentation I would be giving, and set it up in a way that would give future access to her staff who were unable to attend in-person. She went above and beyond to make the content accessible, knowing that it may create additional work for her. I greatly appreciate her care and attention throughout the entire process and was very impressed with her professionalism. Thanks for all of the work you do, Tatiana!

MARISA MATA, Communications and Media:
Marisa Mata is instrumental in keeping us updated with announcements and staff highlights. She quickly gathers stories to highlight departments and staff contributions across campus. Fresno State Upward Bound staff recently attended the 2024 WESTOP Conference to present on maximizing the impact of social media and electronic communication to engage with students and build a brand for your organization. Marisa’s work was proudly cited as part of our presentation. Thank you, Marisa, for all you do to uplift our staff and departments through storytelling.

ZAFAR SUMLER, Student Health and Counseling Center:
I’m absolutely thrilled to give a shout out to Z for their exceptional contributions to our Community Service Learning course (COMS 101). Z, your insights, dedication, and collaborative spirit were instrumental in shaping our classes into something truly special. Your passion and expertise in guiding our college corps students through the complexities of secondary trauma and healthy coping mechanisms were nothing short of inspiring. The way you engaged with our students and shared your knowledge created an enriching learning environment that left a lasting impression. I want to personally thank you for the time and dedication you’ve poured into this class session. Your commitment to our students and your willingness to go above and beyond have truly made a difference. Here’s to your continued success and the positive impact you bring to our community.

MELISSA VILLA, Financial Aid:
Melissa has been a great supporter of our students completing the College Corps Fellowship. She is quick to respond and uses her knowledge and skills to ensure our students are able to receive their full financial benefit. Melissa’s work is a great contributor to student success!

CURTIS WITHERSPOON, Black Student Success Initiative:
Curtis, thank you so much for all of your hard work during Black History Month! Your positivity, grace and willingness to jump in at any given moment are commendable. Thank you for all that you do!
